Advisory Board of UNESCO Chair on Engineering Education

 

Members

The purpose of forming this board is to get advice on the major issues of engineering education and to create a ties between UCEE and other related centers at national levels, and beyond. The members of the advisory board are selected from the working or retired engineering professors of the University of Tehran and other educational centers of the country, experts in the field of education, and representatives from industry, as well as international advisors. It's important to note that communication with advisory board members is predominantly virtual and remote. The board will meet once a year. The verdict of the members of the advisory board is issued by the chairholder for 4 years.

  •   Dr Jafar Tawfighi, professor of chemical engineering, Tarbiat Modares University, and fellow of the Academy of Sciences of Iran.
  • Dr. Parviz Jabedar​ Maralani, emeritus professor of electrical engineering at, the University of Tehran, and a fellow of the Academy of Sciences of Iran
  • Dr. Jalal Hejazi, emeritus professor of the Faculty of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, University of Science and Technology, and an associate member of the Engineering Department of the Academy of Sciences
  • Mohsen Khalili, Chairman, of the Confederation of Iranian Industry
  • Dr Parviz Davami, emeritus professor of the Faculty of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, at Sharif University, and a fellow of the Engineering Department of the Academy of Sciences
