Podcasts, as a modern tool, provide easy access, flexibility, diverse topics, and time-saving benefits, though they also have limitations such as dependence on the internet, variable quality, lack of direct interaction with speakers, and the need for concentration.
The Persian podcast *“Avang”*, produced by Dr. Sadegh Jalali with the support of the Iranian Society for Engineering Education, is a unique example in the field of engineering education. Aimed at enhancing students’ academic and professional skills. Avang covers topics such as effective scientific presentations, LinkedIn, artificial intelligence, the Feynman technique, prompt engineering, and job shadowing. Six episodes have been released so far, available on major platforms (Castbox, Google Podcasts, Podcast Addict, etc.) and via its Telegram channel. Avang is recognized as an innovative Persian resource for auditory learning in technical and scientific fields.
