How should we design a course to achieve the highest learning outcomes? What is educational alignment, and what role does it play in successful course design? What is a course map, and how is it developed and analyzed? These are among the questions we aim to answer in this session. Teaching a course consists of four essential components: learning objectives, teaching strategies, learning activities, and assessment of learning. A course is considered aligned when these four components are in harmony. Analyzing the course map provides valuable information, including ensuring the alignment of the designed course.
