What is creativity? Who are considered creative individuals? What factors stimulate creativity, and what barriers hinder it? What is the relationship between creativity and thinking? Can creativity be measured? How can it be taught? These are some of the questions we aim to address in this session. Recent research on creativity and its role in societal advancement has gained broad, global significance. Creativity is a driving force behind knowledge creation and socio-economic progress. The design represents the peak of activity in engineering, and creativity is essential to the design process. Despite the increasing focus on various aspects of creativity in recent years, relatively less attention has been paid to methods for fostering creativity and innovation within academic environments.
