Course design
- Objective: Acquiring the ability to design a course, in which the learning objectives, the teaching strategies, and the assessment method are aligned.
- Outline: Education alignment, course mapping, course learning objectives, teaching strategies, meaningful learning activities, learning assessment, and course guideline development

Abstract:
- Teacher: After years of teaching experience, and all my efforts my students get low marks, why?
- Student: In this course, despite spending a lot of time preparing for the exam, I could not get a good grade. Most of my classmates are not satisfied with the result of their performance. why?
When a teacher, with a good educational background, presents a lesson to talented and diligent students, and in the end, neither of the two parties is satisfied with their performance, the problem is not the teacher's teaching style or the students' laziness. This situation often arises when education is not aligned. Preparing and presenting a lesson consists of four main components: learning objectives, teaching strategies, learning activities, and learning assessment. Education is aligned when these four components are aligned. How do these components align? This workshop provides a set of necessary measures for designing and presenting a course. At the end of this workshop, you will be able to: recognize the alignment of the components of the course, draw a course design map, explain the difference between course objectives and learning objectives (outcomes), list the main teaching strategies, describe meaningful learning activities and prepare a guide for the course.
