Abstract: In modern engineering education, for a curriculum to successfully pass the accreditation process, it must satisfy several criteria. Among other things, the educational program must prove that it can measure the students' performance, provide guidance to students regarding their curriculum and future careers, and track student progress about program achievements and enable students to achieve all program requirements by the time they graduate. Achieving the above goals requires the constructive interaction of educational program organizers and students. Today, a part of this task is assigned to counselors also known as advisors. Advisors, who are selected from among interested faculty members, dedicate several hours a week to face-to-face meetings with students for counseling and guidance. Experience shows that this consultation may cover a wide range of issues. Students face various academic challenges during their school years. They also face mental and emotional problems, which if not managed well, the minimum result will be an academic failure. Getting to know the educational rules and regulations, and the help that different centers in the university can offer in this field can play a significant role in reducing these problems. To create coordination in the activities of supervisors and improve the counseling services offered to students, this workshop is held at the beginning of the academic year. In this workshop, various educational, research, social, and emotional fields are presented and discussed by a group of experts.
