Abstract: Lecture is not merely standing in front of the students and transferring knowledge. Lecturing is a kind of communication which its intonation, gestures, body language and eye contacts may attract or bore the audience. In addition to content of a lecture, presentation method and the way of talking may also have impact on the attention and learning of students. Considering small points, teachers can guarantee the success of their lecture. In recent decades, educational learning tools and especially the electronic ones, have been more common in teaching and boosting the efficiency of lectures. PowerPoint is the most widely used tool for university educations. PowerPoint is not always considered an efficient tool and in some cases professors return to chalk and blackboard. Such return to a traditional way is the result of using modern tools in an inefficient way. In modern education, dynamic and flexible lecturing and use of educational aids help to attract student and increase their learning. Experienced professors may decrease trial and errors in education system by transferring their educational experiences and skills to new generation. In this workshop, educational achievements by two veteran professors and their suggested strategies will be discussed.
