Abstract: Today, TAs plays important roles in promoting engineering educations. Teaching assistant of a course is normally selected among senior BSc or post graduate engineering students, who have already passed the course. Activities by TAs are mainly focused on problem solving classes, laboratory sessions or workshops held in B.S degree courses. Due to insufficient teaching experiences, TAs attempts may lead to unsatisfactory results. In this workshop first, the aim and role of TAs in problem solving classes are explained and then, basic points affecting success or failure of such classes are discussed. Later, participants share their experiences and challenges of teaching with each other.
