Abstract: How to learn is still not well known. Various theories have been proposed about how to learn. These theories explain how to acquire, process, and retain knowledge. Behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism are three more famous theories of learning. Learning is realized in different ways as students may have different learning styles. The preferred, learning method is visual, auditory, and kinematic. Teachers also have different teaching styles. The best and most lasting learning happens when the professor's teaching style and the student's learning style are close to each other. This situation happens less in teacher-oriented training. Nowadays, student-centered teaching methods and active learning have opened new horizons. Active learning methods involve students directly in intellectual activities and solving problems. By engaging students in thinking about concepts, especially new ideas, they learn more and also what and how to learn.
