Who conducts the external assessment, and how is it carried out? What are the stages of the external assessment process? How are assessment criteria measured? How are the learning outcomes of the educational program assessed? What are the conditions for earning a quality certificate for the academic program? These are some of the questions this session aims to address. Improving the quality of education is essential, challenging, and time-consuming. This process is carried out through the assessment of the educational program. Evaluation is conducted in two forms: internal and assessment. The academic institution carries out internal or self-assessment, while an independent accreditation agency performs external assessment. The external assessment process is designed to minimize personal opinions. While reviewing the institution’s internal assessment documentation and conducting site visits, evaluators assess the program’s achievement of each of the established criteria. A quality certificate that meets the specified criteria is awarded to the program.
