The purpose of the book is to provide methods for improving the quality of engineering education, including a set of activities that should be done from the level of presenting a course to a training program so that the offered engineering education can be successful in national and international evaluations and gain a worthy global position.
The present book is written in four sections and fourteen chapters. The first section is devoted to materials related to the provision of education and teaching.
In Chapter 1, some of the most important concepts, such as technology, engineering and civil engineering, are reviewed, and while reviewing the history of engineering education, the challenges facing it are examined.
In Chapter 2, lesson and teaching design, which is one of the most important steps in order to prepare for education, is described. Training is provided for courses and training programs.
The second part of the book is dedicated to the process of teaching and learning. Teaching in the form of lectures has long been a common method of university education.
Chapter 4 offers suggestions for successful teaching in the form of traditional lectures as well as the use of newer methods such as PowerPoint.
