Data collection can be carried out in various ways. Surveys of stakeholders and creating curriculum maps are two primary methods of data collection and analysis during the internal assessment process. A significant portion of the data needed for assessment is gathered through surveys. A survey is considered valid when designing the questionnaire, collecting data, analyzing responses, and reporting results is done correctly. The examined sample should represent the target population and be sufficient for making informed and rational decisions. Surveys from students, alumni, and employers are among the most common methods for collecting the necessary information. Each of the survey and data collection methods has its advantages and disadvantages. The "ideal" method best aligns with the program's needs, the acceptable validity of the questions, and the cost-effectiveness of the process (in terms of time, effort, and expense).
