What is offered in the university consists of knowledge and skills, and in some cases, it leads to changes in students' attitudes and behaviors. The amount of knowledge acquired by students can be assessed through traditional methods. However, skill-based performances are not easily measurable and assessable using conventional methods. A replacement method that broadly addresses this issue is establishing criteria or indicators for performance assessment. These criteria guide students and instructors and are often presented to students before the course begins so that they know how their activities will be assessed in advance.
