What is learning, and how does it happen? What role do different parts of the brain play in learning?
Learning is the result of processes that allow humans to perceive, process, store, and retrieve information. The ability to learn is available to humans, animals, plants, and some types of machines. Learning does not occur instantaneously, but rather develops based on past knowledge. Learning ultimately leads to changes that are usually permanent. Learning may be conscious or unconscious. Learning, whether in the human brain or by artificial intelligence, is the result of changes in the connections between neurons. In the brain, this process takes the form of chemical and structural changes in synapses, and in artificial neural networks, changes in the values of weights with mathematical algorithms. more… (full article in Farsi)
