Can we establish criteria for effective undergraduate teaching? What principles underpin successful undergraduate education? How can we enhance these principles by promoting greater student engagement in teaching-learning? In this session, we will explore seven principles proposed for good undergraduate teaching. Numerous studies conducted over the years, since these principles were introduced, have confirmed their relevance and effectiveness. One of the primary goals of these seven principles is to prepare students for the challenges they will face in the real world outside the university.
