What is the UNESCO Chair on Engineering Education, and why was it established? What are its goals and mission? What have been its educational, research, and promotional achievements? These are some of the questions this session seeks to address. The activities of the UNESCO Chair on Engineering Education began in 2011. The mission of this chair is to enhance the quality of education, ensure quality education, and encourage innovation and continuous progress. The main focus areas for achieving these goals have been foresight, accreditation, and collaboration. This program presents the achievements of a decade of the UNESCO Chair's work in engineering education, including designing and implementing courses, conducting education research, publishing results in books and articles, and developing and launching an accreditation system for engineering education programs in the country.
