What is value engineering, and how is it useful? How is the value engineering process carried out? What are the benefits of value engineering? These are some of the questions addressed in this session. Value engineering is a structured effort to examine and analyze all project activities, from the initial conceptual phase through design and execution to commissioning and operation. The value engineering method is based on the project's performance under review, teamwork, creativity, and innovation. Projects face various challenges throughout their lifecycle, such as rising costs, prolonged execution time, structural issues, technological difficulties, and social challenges. Value engineering is a set of technical methods that, through reviewing and analyzing the components of a design, enables its full implementation with the least cost and time.
